Two sectors. 30+ years in each.

VS MEP Designs takes on MEP design projects in two sectors only, commercial buildings (including gated community developments and commercial complexes) and industrial / mission-critical facilities. We don't list every sector to look broad. We list the two Srinivasan has spent 30+ years in.

MEP consultant for gated communities and commercial complexes.

VS MEP Designs is a Chennai-based MEP consultant specialising in gated community developments and commercial complexes. Active target work covers the integrated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems that residential and commercial complexes depend on at peak load, central plant, hydro-pneumatic water supply, standby power, sprinklered fire protection, sewage treatment integration.

Active target work
  • Gated community developments, central plumbing, hydro-pneumatic systems sized using Poisson distribution (typically 75% leaner than conventional design), common-area HVAC, standby power, fire protection.
  • Commercial complexes, offices, retail, mixed-use developments. Coordination at concept that holds at commissioning.

Also delivered: Hospitality, transit stations, institutional buildings, large-format retail. These are the buildings where MEP errors show up at the worst possible moment, peak occupancy, opening day, regulatory inspection, monsoon storm. Coordination has to hold up under load, not just under review.

What we bring: Designs sized to the real load rather than the safe-side multiplier. Drawings that close out tender without an addenda spiral. Construction-phase responsiveness when the GC is on the phone.

  • Spencer Plaza, Chennai

02Industrial & mission-critical

Industrial and mission-critical facilities.

VS MEP Designs supports MEP design for industrial plants, terminals, operations centres, and mission-critical infrastructure where downtime carries a measurable production or operational cost. The work where coordination failures don't just delay handover, they show up later as forced shutdowns or insurance claims.

What we bring: Redundancy designed into the systems from the schematic stage, not added in DD. Specifications written for operations and maintenance teams who will run the building for 30 years, not for the GC closing out the contract.

Selected past projects
  • Fujairah International Airport
  • ADNOC Quarters
  • Bhopal Metro
